You will be offered a 1-to-1 “Introduction to TEL at Aston”. This lasts 1 hour and takes the form of a discussion, that highlights Aston’s TEL provision. It is also an opportunity to discuss future training sessions to get you up to speed on all of the learning technologies that you will need to use.

Academic Technology Induction
The TEL team in partnership with the Digital Capabilities working group has created a “self-service” online TEL induction. It will give you an overview of the learning technologies that you will need to use to fulfil your new role at Astonas well as some of the related university policies and processes. Three pathways, based on academic roles, have been created that will help guide you through the basics.
The TEL Team is in the process of designing a number of training courses that will be bookable via the “Staff Core system”. Check back soon for a list of courses and descriptions.
