This will give you an overview of the module interface and show you the basics of building your content. If you are familiar with Blackboard already you can skip this step.

Viewing Student Grades

We use primarily two assessment tools at Aston, the built-in Blackboard assignment and Turnitin. Grades for both tools can be found in the Grade Center. Here is some guidance on accessing and navigating the Grade Center. To view a specific submission, you can select that submission, open the context menu and choose the Grade Details.

As Turnitin is a separate third-party tool, there is a separate interface you can access which gives you more information. You can access the Turnitin tool by opening the Course Tools menu on the left and scrolling down to Turnitin Assignments. From here you’ll be taken to a list of assignments in that module and clicking through them will take you to the assignment inbox where you can view student grades and the associated similarity reports.
